New Music: IAMSU! – “Racks In The Middle (Freestyle)” [LISTEN]

Iamsu! drops some heat as he freestyles over Nipsey Hussle‘s latest release “Racks In The Middle,” giving the track a new feel with his slightly auto-tuned vocals. In the freestyle he mentions going from being a loser to being an owner and how he shed tears the day he got out of his record deal. Suzy has obviously experienced his share of woes in the industry but it never stopped him from giving “Only That Real” (no pun intended).

IAMSU! Releases ‘Blessed’ Project [STREAM]

Iamsu! is ending his 2018 campaign on a high note with the release of his ‘Blessed’ project. This one follows ’06 Solara’, which he released during the summer and comes equipped with a total of 10-tracks and features from RBC Bugzy and Derek King.

IAMSU has been working and releasing a lot of music this year. We recently connected with him for our latest single “Yesterday,” which also features Problem. Days later Su comes right back with his own single entitled “Blessed (Done Deal).”

On the smooth track he rides out with some swift lyrics and crazy cadences which he is known for. This track is exactly what we needed to forget about the summer and breeze though the holidays. We’re sure you’ll enjoy this one, it’s a vibe.

IAMSU! Comes Through With His New Mixtape ’06 Solara’ [STREAM]

IAMSU! is staying true to his humble beginnings.

The Bay Area rapper pays homage to his first car, a 2006 Toyota Solara on his new mixtape, ‘Solara’. Su is serious about his first whip and even with the fame that rapping has brought him, he still keeps it around. I remember the last time I was in the Bay, we mobbed through the city in his Solara and he explained to me the love for his Solara.

On the mixtape you get 10-tracks with contributions from Nef The Pharaoh, Skipper, Show Banga, Drakeo The Ruler, Goldie, and more.

IAMSU Drops ‘Boss Up’ Deluxe Version [STREAM]

IAMSU! bosses up by dropping a deluxe version of his ‘Boss Up’ mixtape series. Rolling the entire series into one, the deluxe version includes every song from the first, second, third, and fourth installment, for a total of 34 tracks.

All four installments of the series were released throughout 2017. On the deluxe version, which he had a release party for at the Pink Dolphin store on Fairfax, SU adds “On My Own,” “Rings,” and two new, previously unreleased tracks.

Since 2011 the combination of Skipper and SU has been the right formula that is guaranteed to generate a club-ready slapper. On “Right Time” the original members of HBK do it again by coupling synth arpeggios, stuttering hi-hats, and a rubbery bassline, along with quick fiery flows.

“Right Time” is expected to land on Skipper’s upcoming ‘Prezidential’ project, which will be released on February 2nd.

HBK rapper IAMSU! is currently gearing up for his big headlining “IAMSUMMER” show at the Fox Theater in Oakland this Friday. Ahead of that, Su shares the HBK Gadget-directed visuals for “I Be.”

In the video, Suzy is shown chilling by the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco before pulling up to the club in his Jeep Wrangler.

If you’ve been sleeping on IAMSU! it’s time to wake up and smell the beans. Already this year Suzy has released numerous singles and all three installments of his ‘Boss Up’ series. Staying consistent, the HBK rapper releases his latest offering,”I Be.”

Putting on for the Bay, Su delivers scorching bars over his self-produced, synth-heavy track. “I call her Milk Marie she spoiled / 
Ice so mean Im froze / Best believe she chose
 / Yet and still I need my dough” he raps.
