j-balvin-unforgettable

French Montana puts on for Latinos with a “Latin Remix” of his chart-topping single, “Unforgettable.” With assistance from Colombian superstar, J Balvin, French celebrates the songs success, as J puts his Spanish touch on it with a spanglish verse and recreates the hook in Spanish.

“Lo siento cuando bailamos, mami / Seduciendome con tu body,” sings Balvin.

“Unforgettable” is French’s highest-charting single ever and is now listed at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single has also helped propel Montana’s ‘Jungle Rules’ album, which debuted at No. 3 next week.

New Video: French Montana – “Whiskey Eyes” Feat. Chinx [WATCH]

On French Montana’s recently-released ‘Jungle Wars’ album he showed his loyalty to his day ones and how solid he is. The Coke Boy rapper put Max B, (who is currently incarcerated) on a track with The Weeknd, while also adding deceased rapper, Chinx on “Whiskey Eyes.”

In the video for “Whiskey Eyes” French honors his late friend, Chinx. The Majik Films-directed visuals begins with a video of Chinx cheering to the Coke Boys and popping a bottle of Dom Perignon. French then goes on to rap about his ups and downs and losing Chinx.

French also puts Chinx son in the video next to a portrait of the fallen rapper, that was painted on his birthday.

French Montana Drops Sophomore Album ‘Jungle Rules’ [STREAM]

french-jungle-rules

One year after French Montana had to completely cancel his ‘MC4’ album due to unforeseen situations, he bounces back with his official sophomore album, ‘Jungle Rules’.

Montana enthusiasts have waited four years for his sophomore offering, which subsequently follows 2013’s ‘Excuse My French’. With his freshman album spawning hits like “Ain’t Worried About Nothin,” “Pop That” featuring Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne, and “Freaks” featuring Nicki Minaj, French has big shoes to fill.

Already having his highest-charting career single in “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee, French is already well on his way to fulfilling expectations. The 18-track album also includes additional features from The Weeknd and Max B on “A Lie,” Pharrell on “Bring Dem Things,” Future on “No Pressure,” and a slew of other talented musicians.

French told Justin Credible in a recent interview that from his last album to now he’s really learned growth and timing. French has also said that this is his best work to date.

New Music: French Montana – “A Lie” Feat. The Weeknd & Max B [LISTEN]

french-montana-a-lie

Just ahead of the release of his sophomore album, ‘Jungle Rules’, French Montana drops one of the most anticipated tracks on the album, “A Lie” featuring The Weeknd and Max B. Produced by Harry Fraud, the single contains a verse from Biggaveli, who is currently serving a federal sentence.

Even with Max behind bars, his verse sounds like he was in the studio with French working on this one. On the track French compares his bond with Max to Utah Jazz greats, Karl Malone and John Stockton. Undoubtedly that’s the kind of combo they are. Hopefully Max gets out soon and we can hear more of this.

‘Jungle Rules’ will be dropping tomorrow and include the singles “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee, “No Pressure” featuring Future, and “Bring Dem Things” featuring Pharrell.

French Montana’s “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee is one of the hottest singles out right now, that’s a fact. In true Dave East fashion, the Harlem rapper gives the single an EastMix twist.

Rapping freely Dave makes references to several New York radio personalities, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, French Montana, Monica Lewinsky, Billy-Bob Thornton, and Halle Berry, who is featured on the cover art.

“Somebody tell Halle Berry that I’m lookin’ for her / I ain’t a chef but I’ll be in the crib cookin’ for her / I don’t get how other dudes wouldn’t wanna / Compare me to Billy Bob the way I put it on her / They done let the wrong loke around these models,” raps East.

Dave is currently working on his ‘Paranoia’ tape, which should be coming soon. Listen to “Unforgettable (EastMix)” below.
