Eminem Performs His Classics On BBC Radio 1 [WATCH]

Before releasing his highly-anticipated ‘Revival’ album, Eminem stopped by BBC Radio 1 in England to perform his classic singles. If you recall Marshall performed his latest single “Walk On Water” at the EMAs in London last month as well.

To begin the classic performance Em revved up his Rihanna-assisted “Love the Way You Lie” with Skylar Grey on the piano and The Alchemist djing, which set the tone for the night. From there Em continued with his ‘Recovery’ single “Won’t Back Down,” as Skylar Grey filled in for Pink and capped it all off with a wild performance of “Berzerk” with the help of Mr. Porter.

Em will be releasing ‘Revival’ in just a few hours. His latest album will include appearances from Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Kehlani, Alicia Keys, and more. In the meantime watch him run through some older tracks below.

New Music: Eminem – “Untouchable” [LISTEN]

Before Eminem unleashes what is expected to be a politically-charged album in ‘Revival’, he drops his latest single, “Untouchable.”

The politically-driven, scathing single follows the Beyoncé-assisted “Walk On Water.” On it the Rap God spits hardcore bars over the Rock-N-Roll-inspired production about social issues and racial tension that exists in America. He goes on to say the mistreatment of colored people makes it an embarrassment to be a white man.

‘Revival’ is set to be released next Friday, December 15th. It will include features from Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Kehlani, Skylar Grey, and more.

Eminem Shares Track List For Forthcoming ‘Revival’ Album [PEEP]

For Eminem Stans the time is coming for their savior to release his forthcoming album, ‘Revival’. Getting closer to the release date, Marshall Mathers shared the track listing, which for some is a bit underwhelming.

With Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, and Kendrick Lamar not featured on the album, Em goes the POPier route by collaborating with a cast that includes Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Skylar Grey, and Kehlani. New York rapper Phresher and X Ambassadors will also be featured on ‘Revival’.

The 19-track album will be Eminem’s eighth studio album and his first since he released ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’ back in 2013. ‘Revival’ will include the Beyoncé-assisted “Walk On Water” along with “River” featuring Ed Sheeran, which has already been sparking a lot of interest.

‘Revival’ is set to arrive December 15th. Stay tuned for more information.

Who’s Dropping: New Releases In December [PEEP]

With December in full effect, the year is quickly dwindling down. The fourth quarter has came and while many artists have made a push to leave their mark on 2017 with releases earlier in the year, other artists have waited to the end. Projects that have been rumored are finally coming to fruition and artists that have remained mum are finally ready to share their latest body of work.

The majority of the year has been filled with speculation and rumors of a new Eminem album, which we will finally get this month. N*E*R*D also made headlines in early November when they performed their entire new album at ComplexCon. While many expected the group to drop immediately after the performance, they kept fans waiting. Others like G-Eazy and Jeezy have taken their time to perfect their latest offering which will be released on the same day as Em and N*E*R*D.

December is a month for many that brings gifts and if you are a fan of the culture, you will definitely be blessed with plenty of gifts, in the form of new music.

See everyone dropping a new project this month to end the year on a high.

G Perico has had a solid 2017. Earlier this year he celebrated his freedom from prison with a Tweet, where he shared his appreciation. Since being freed from prison he’s been completely focused on his music career. Back in April the South Central rapper dropped his ‘All Blue’ debut album and followed that by teaming up with G-Worthy and Cardo on ‘G-Worthy’. On December 8th he will release his third project of the year in ‘2 Tha Left’.

EMINEM – ‘REVIVAL’ (12/15)

Eminem’s ‘Revival’ may be the most anticipated album of the year. Stans on the Internet for months have been trying to figure out cryptic messages in hopes of pinpointing exactly when the album will drop. A few weeks ago, Dr. Dre made it official with a video that disclosed the release date of December 15th. ‘Revival’ will be Eminem’s eighth studio album and ninth overall. It comes four years after Em dropped his The Marshall Mathers LP 2′.

N*E*R*D – ‘NO_ONE REALLY EVER DIES’ (12/15)

So far G-Eazy hasn’t missed with any single he’s shared off his forthcoming ‘The Beautiful & Damned’ album. “No Limit” featuring A$AP Rocky and Cardi B continues to rise on the Billboard charts and is dominating clubs and radio. It is looking like this might be G’s most successful album of his career. It will also be accompanied with a cinematic short film that will include album cuts within.

JEEZY – ‘PRESSURE’ (12/15)

Last month Jeezy dropped two new singles in “Bottles Up” featuring Diddy and “Cold Summer” featuring Tee Grizzley. Those two singles appear to have been a warm up (or cold up) for Jeezy’s eighth studio album, ‘Pressure’, which will arrive December 15th. It will follow last year’s critically-acclaimed ‘Trap Or Die 3’ album.

Scarface_Deeply_Rooted

SCARFACE – ‘DEEPLY ROOTED: THE LOST FILES‘ (12/15)

Houston legend, Scarface will make his return on December 15th with his new album ‘Deeply Rooted: The Lost Files‘. The 10-track album will be a continuation of his 2015 ‘Deeply Rooted’ project.

AD – ‘BLUE 89 C2’ (12/15)

I would say real West Coast rap is back, but it really hasn’t disappeared thanks to a list of rappers pushing it forward like Compton’s AD. On December 15th AD will release his forthcoming ‘Blue 89 C2’ project, which will include guest appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Busta Rhymes, Maxo Kream, and more.

Stay tuned for more announcements as they unfold.

Dr. Dre Reveals The Release Date For Eminem’s ‘Revival’ Album [PEEP]

The time has finally come for the official release date of Eminem’s long-awaited, highly-anticipated ‘Revival’ album. In a Tweet Dr. Dre shared a video of a medication video, that was used to announce his “Walk On Water” single. The video revealed the release date of December 15th. In the caption Dre wrote, “Use as prescribed by your doctor. @Eminem.”

‘Revival’ will be Eminem’s eighth studio album and ninth album overall. It comes four years after Em dropped his The Marshall Mathers LP 2′ album. The album was originally supposed to drop November 15th with no press, but it comes now with minimal press. As we know, Em don’t really need any press to move units.

There isn’t much information album other than the December 15th release date and that it will include the Rick Rubin-produced “Walk On Water,” which debuted at No. 14 but sunk down to No. 55 in its second week. If Eminem’s track record stays true, the album should be laced with fire.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.

Eminem Performs “Walk On Water” At MTV EMAs [WATCH]

mtv-ema-eminem

For the first time since releasing his new single “Walk On Water,” Eminem performed it last night at the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards. The event took place at London’s SSE Arena, Wembley, where Em delivered a convincing performance without his collaborator, Beyoncé.

Taking Beyoncé’s place, the single’s co-producer and songwritier, Skylar Grey joined Em on stage. As she subbed-in for Beyoncé, not only did she exercise her vocals, but also played the piano simultaneously, draped in an all-white dress. Meanwhile Marshall rocked a hoodie, cargo pants, and high top sneakers.

Aside from his performance, Em was nominated for 35 awards and notched 16 wins. Quite impressive and surprising for an artist who’s last album was 2013’s ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’. Amongst the awards Eminem took home “Best Hip-Hop.”

Even Eminem was impressed by the wins and nominations saying, “I’m not really sure how I got this, because I haven’t had an album out in a few years.”

“Walk On Water” is expected to be the first single off Eminem’s forthcoming ‘Revival’ album, expected to be released later this month.

New Music: Eminem – “Walk On Water” Feat. Beyoncé [LISTEN]

eminem-walk-on-water-feat-beyonce

He’s back!

After a few cryptic messages and teasers on his social media accounts and the Internet, Eminem releases his new, highly-anticipated single “Walk On Water” featuring none other than Beyoncé. Em posted the single on his Instagram with a teaser video yesterday, but even without any of that, the song would still be getting the same attention, because he’s Eminem.

I’m personally not too impressed by the song, especially if it’s the first single off his forthcoming ‘REVIVAL’ album. It is just not what I was expecting for a first single, especially after what he did on BET’s Hip-Hop Awards Cypher. Nonetheless the single will probably go platinum in record time and top the charts, because he’s Eminem.

The introspective single is produced by Rick Rubin with Skylar Grey getting a co-production credit as well. Skylar also is listed with a co-writing credit.

On the track Eminem raps about his drug addiction, expectations, before going on to pay salutations to  legends like 2-Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Rakim, LL Cool J, and Prince, while bashing himself and his accolades.

“Kids look to me as a God,” he raps. “This is retarded / If only they knew it’s a facade / And it’s exhaustive.”

“Walk On Water” is sure to be on Eminem’s ‘REVIVAL’ album which is reportedly set to be released Friday, November 17th. Em will also perform the song at the MTV EMAs on Sunday, November 12th and on “SNL” on Saturday, November 18th.

Who’s Dropping: New Releases In November [PEEP]

wiz-getty-1508165459-640x390

With November here the weather is finally beginning to cool down as temperatures drop. November also marks the fourth and final quarter of the year, meaning artists that have been quiet will make sure they leave their mark by dropping heat that will get you through the winter season.

Amongst artists expected to drop this month is Wiz Khalifa, Fabolous and Jadakiss, PnB Rock, T-Pain, Talib Kweli, and perhaps even Eminem, N.E.R.D, and Migos. Some artists have already shared their plans to release something this month, while other remain coy about it.

Let’s get to all those confirmed projects and ones that remain a possibility.

Problem has been one of the busiest rappers in the industry this year, having spent most of his year in the studio working on fire joints. Prob will strike with a hat trick with his ‘Selfish’ debut album, after releasing two mixtapes earlier this year.

T-PAIN – ‘OBLIVION’ (11/17)

T-Pain made his comeback to music earlier this year when he dropped the Young M.A-assisted “F.B.G.M.” single. The autotune originator then followed that with “Goal Line” featuring Blac Youngsta. Having been in high school when Pain was really popping, I’m definitely cheering for him, although I know he won’t be able to replicate singles like “Bartender,” “In Love With A Stripper,” and “Can’t Believe” featuring Lil Wayne.

Screen Shot 2017-11-03 at 11.51.26 PM

PNB ROCK – ‘CATCH THESE VIBES’ (11/17)

Barring no Lil B curse, PnB Rock’s ‘Catch These Vibes’ album should be an absolute smash. The Philadelphia artist figures to bring them vibes that will fit right in with cuffing season, as there will be a rise in cuddle sessions and new relationships.

fabolous-jadakiss-MAIN-652x367-538x301

FABOLOUS & JADAKISS – ‘FREDDY VS. JASON’ (11/24)

A project that hip-hop fans have been yearning for since last year is Fabolous and Jadakiss’ collaborative ‘Freddy Vs. Jason’ project. Fans of the rappers hoped the duo would release the project on Halloween, but that didn’t come to fruition. On Friday, November 24th fans will get their wish. The first single “Stand Up” featuring Future did however drop on Halloween and you can listen here.

Screen Shot 2017-11-04 at 11.38.05 AM

HOPSIN – ‘NO SHAME’ (11/24)

California rapper Hopsin is ready to release his new album ‘No Shame’ on November 24th, after his two new singles received such a great reception.

EMINEM – ‘REVIVAL’ (?)

Approximately four-years-ago Eminem gave us his last body of work that was ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’. Since then he’s released singles, but no actual album or project. According to HITS Double Daily all that will change on November 17th, as Em will reportedly release his 9th album, ‘Revival’.

N*E*R*D – ‘NO_ONE EVER REALY DIES’ (?)

N*E*R*D surprised fans at ComplexCon with a listening party for their upcoming ‘No_One Ever Really Dies’ album. The album will include 11-tracks and features from Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000, Future, Gucci Mane, and others. No official release date has been set, but with a full track list and listening out of the way, you can definitely expect it to drop this month.

Screen Shot 2017-11-04 at 11.43.16 AM

MIGOS – ‘CULTURE 2’ (?)

The Migos trio has had quite the busy year touring and performing at every popping festival this summer. The group has even merged off with Quavo and Offset making their own moves and working on collaborative projects with other solo artists. However, it might be time for the group to refocus on themselves as they ready ‘Culture 2’. The first single off their upcoming album united Nicki Minaj and Cardi B and it is a known fact that Kanye West has taken on the Executive Producer role for the album. Perhaps we will get ‘Culture 2’ at some point this month.

Eminem Destroys Donald Trump In BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher [WATCH]

eminem-cypher-hha

Not all heroes wear capes. That was pretty apparent last night at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, where Eminem lashed out with a venomous freestyle that destroyed Donald Trump’s entire sad existence.

Over 5-minutes Eminem reminded everyone he still possesses those deadly lyrics with a politically-charged, hateful, disrespectful freestyle entirely dedicated to the excuse of a president in Donald Trump. The freestyle also urged his fans that voted for Donnie to pick a side, and made it easier by dissing them too.

“And any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his / I’m drawing in the sand a line, you’re either for or against / And if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split / On who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this: Fuck you,” he exclaimed. “The rest of America, stand up! / We love our military, and we love our country / But we fucking hate Trump!”

Em went on showing support for Colin and continuing the onslaught of Trump.

“This is his form of distraction,” he rapped. “Plus, he gets an enormous reaction / When he attacks the NFL, so we focus on that / Instead of talking about Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada / All these horrible tragedies, he’s bored and would rather / Cause a Twitter storm with the Packers.”

New Music: G-Eazy – “Maximum” [LISTEN]

G-Eazy channels his inner Eminem on the booming “Maximum” produced by the legendary 9th Wonder. The Bay Area rapper gets lyrical, with slick raps where he shoots his shot at model Adrianna Lima, takes shots at Donald Trump Chump, and even pays homage to Em by recycling some barz.

Eazy accompanied the track with a tweet where he teased his forthcoming album saying, “Just for fun… to hold you over… album coming soon…”. It’s unclear when he’s planning to drop the follow-up to 2015’s ‘When It’s Dark Out’.

Big Sean Performs “Moves” On “Ellen” [WATCH]

big-sean-ellen

Big Sean brought the “Moves” to “Ellen” as he made his debut on the show and performed his newest single surrounded by elderly people holding cash, drinks, and popping bottles.

The elderly group showed off some of their moves as well while they celebrated life, while Sean ran through the track and displayed great energy.

It’s quite ironic Sean Don had elderly people rocking the stage with him after he shared on “The Tonight Show” that his upcoming album ‘I Decided’ is based on an older version of himself.

“The album is basically a chance, to have that wisdom of an old man while you’re young, and going through life to figure it out,” he said on “The Tonight Show.”

The Detroit player will drop his forthcoming album ‘I Decided’ on all platforms this Friday. The album will include contributions from Twenty88 (a.k.a. himself and Jhene Aiko), Migos, Jeremih, The Dream, and fellow D-Town player, Eminem.
