DVSN Drops Two New Singles [LISTEN]

One of the best R&B duos one can find is quietly Toronto’s dvsn, who make their return with their first two singles since 2017.

With their last album ‘Morning After’ getting a warm reception, the OVO collective has switched up their previous vibe a bit, but still is bringing the heat on their two new tracks. First, “Miss Me” is an effortlessly catchy banger, and the group brings their vintage romantic vibes on “In Between.”

DVSN Premiere Three New Remixes On OVOSOUNDRADIO [PEEP]

Screen Shot 2017-10-16 at 11.19.11 AM

To celebrate the release of their ‘Morning After’ album, the OVO duo known as dvsn, unleash three new remixes on this past weekend’s OVOSOUNDRADIO on Beats1.

The duo comprised of Daniel Daley and Ninteen85 remixed SZA’s “The Weekend,” where Daley slightly alters the words and offers a different perspective on the single singing,  “She’s been working nights on the weekend, always picking fights on the weekend / Beefing every Friday, when I think about it, she might have somebody on the weekend.”

Along with remixing SZA’s hit, dvsn also put their touch on BloodPop and Justin Bieber’s “Friends” and called on OVO labelmate, Roy Woods to remix their ‘Morning After’ single “Don’t Choose.”

dvsn’s ‘Morning After’ album was released this past Friday the 13th and follows last year’s debut album, ‘Sept. 5th’.

DVSN Vibes Out On Sophomore Album ‘Morning After’ [STREAM]

dvsn-morning-after

The OVO October takeover begins with the duo of Daniel Daley and Nineteen85 known as dvsn, releasing their sophomore album, ‘Morning After’.

I heard the entire album from front-to-back at their listening earlier this week. The vibes are completely a splash if you’re into experimental R&B and is sure to get some action popping off in the bedroom.

With 13-songs, dvsn samples plenty ’90s R&B tracks like Maxwells “Fortunate” single on “P.O.V.” On “Don’t Choose,” the duo uses Issac Hayes’ smooth vocals and Daniel Daley delivers an Avant reminiscent cadence on “Claim.”

DVSN Share The Official Release Date For Upcoming ‘Morning After’ Album [PEEP]

dvsn-morning

There’s been a lot of recent output on the side of dvsn and after sharing a trailer for their upcoming sophomore album, ‘Morning After’, the group shares the official release date.

This week the OVO signees dropped their new single “Mood” and now they’re back with an official release date of October 13th. The announcement was made with another trailer, similar to the video announcement that was shared last month.

Daniel Daley and Nineteen85 are looking to continue their early success they had with ‘SEPT. 5TH’ and if the recently-released singles are any indicators of what to expect, it should be matched.

DVSN Shares The Trailer For Forthcoming ‘Morning After’ Album [WATCH]

dvsn-morning

It’s no surprise that OVO signees, dvsn have an album on the way, coming sooner than many expect. The group comprised of Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85 take things a step further today by sharing a cinematic video teaser of their upcoming ‘Morning After’ album.

Shot in Cuba the clip shows different views from the island, classic cars, kids running to a basketball court, and more as a soothing dvsn song plays in the background. Before fading to black a molotov cocktail is thrown in the air and the album title follows it.

As of now there is no set release date for ‘Morning After’, although it is expected to be dropping in the coming weeks. dvsn’s sophomore album is a follow-up to last year’s ‘Sept. 5th’, so maybe there’s a chance we get it on September 5th.

It’s all speculation for now but in the meantime watch the cinematic trailer below.
