New Music: Black Eyed Peas – “Be Nice” Feat. Snoop Dogg [LISTEN]

Season veterans The Black Eyed Peas have been on a bit of a musical hiatus but are back for action with their new single “Be Nice” featuring Snoop Dogg. It’s unclear if this track will be on an upcoming project or is just a one-off but it’s a muthafuckin’ vibe, my g.

New Video: Black Eyed Peas – “BACK 2 HIPHOP” Feat. Nas [WATCH]

The Black Eyed Peas are taking hip-hop back to its roots with pure lyricism, gold chains and adidas suits in their new video for “BACK 2 HIPHOP” featuring Nas. The boom bap feel with the sample to the classic “Back To Life” by Soul ll Soul pair well with the psychedelic video.

New Video: Black Eyed Peas – “Street Livin'” [WATCH]

One day after releasing their first new single in forever, the Black Eyed Peas return with the visuals for their powerful, socially-conscious, “Street Livin'” song.

In the black-and-white clip the trio consisting of will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo include strong images of Civil Rights leaders like Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcom X, and others. At the end of the video the group includes a statement that reads, “Prison Industrial Complex. Immigration. Gun Violence. Police Brutality. These issues are critical for our families, friends, communities, and world. Stay Woke, Take Action Now.”

New Music: Black Eyed Peas – “Street Livin'” [LISTEN]

Approximately eight-years the Black Eyed Peas released their last album ‘The Beginning’. Since then the group has been kind of silent and Fergie has departed. Not to worry as will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo return with their new single “Street Livin’.”

The socially-driven single tackles a plethora of topics like America’s war on drugs, mass incarceration, race relations, and more. “Street livin’, oh my gosh, another brother got shot by the sarge / Another cop got off with no charge / If you’re black in the ‘hood, you at large,” raps apl.de.ap.

It’s unclear if this is the first single off a forthcoming project, but I’m sure it will be welcomed.
