big-boi-kill-jill

ATLien Big Boi has revitalized his carrier with his upcoming ‘Boomiverse’ album dropping in a few weeks. Following the release of the “Mic Jack” video featuring Adam Levine, the OutKast member drops the video for “Kill Jill” featuring fellow southern rappers, Killer Mike and Jeezy.

Big Boi plays the role of a king in the Asian cultured video. Killer Mike stays true to his political self by rapping in front of a black-and-white American flag with a masked woman next to him. Jeezy is shown getting his suit lint brushed by a woman in Asian attire.

Both “Kill Jill” and “Mic Jack” will be on Big Boi’s forthcoming ‘Boomiverse’ album dropping June 16th and include features from Gucci Mane, CeeLo Green, and Pimp C, in addition to Adam Levine, Killer Mike, and Jeezy.

Along with the video, Big Boi unmasked the cover art and track list for ‘Boomiverse’. You Can check both out below.

New Video: Big Boi – “Mic Jack” Feat. Adam Levine [WATCH]

Outkast’s Big Boi zones out in a trippy way after hitting the wrong dry cleaners in the video for “Mic Jack” featuring Adam Levine. The video for the Michael Jackson-inspired single begins with Big Boi walking into the wrong cleaners, where Adam Levine thinks he misplaced the rapper’s order and is forced to go on a full-fledged mission in the back, before realizing Big is at the wrong cleaners.

The single is off Big Boi’s forthcoming album ‘Boomiverse’ dropping June 16th.

Big Boi To Reunite With Andre 3000 On New Version Of Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter” (News)

Image taken from Instagram

Earlier this summer, Big Boi tweeted why he wasn’t featured on Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange along his Outkast other-half, Andre 3000. “Dre didn’t want an Outkast Record Coming out on anybody else.” Hmmm, it took only 6 months to flip that.

This past weekend, the ATL-ien instagram’d a piece of paper (posted above) with writing titled “Pink Matter.” Could it be a new updated verse? Well, the IG caption “Dropping a verse on this Frank Ocean ‘Pink Matter'” pretty much confirms it.

According to HipHopDX, the new version of “Pink Matter” featuring Outkast is set to be released next week. I think we all have high expectations for this one.

UPDATE: T.I.’s “Sorry” is next on the Outkast reunion list.
