2017 BET Hip Hop Awards Winners & Freestyles [PEEP]

Last night’s BET Hip Hop Awards was definitely headlined by Eminem’s politically-charged, Trump-laden freestyle. However, the show continued even after that with some of the biggest names winning some trophies, performing and other freestyles taking place.

Kendrick Lamar notched another victory by taking home “Album of the Year” honors for his critically-acclaimed ‘Damn.’ album and other awards. Cardi B also continued her domination and takeover as she won “Best New Hip-Hop Artist” and “Single of the Year” for “Bodak Yellow.”

BET have announced the first group of performers at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. Kendrick Lamar, who leads all artists with 14 nominations, is set to hit the stage, alongside 2 Chainz, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock and French Montana. Kevin Hart has also been confirmed as a presenter.

The BET Hip Hop Awards will air on October 15th.
