New Music: BAS – “Fried Rice” Feat. J.I.D [LISTEN]

The Dreamville team is linking up for a new vibe titled “Fried Rice.” J.I.D. teased the track on social media that him and Bas would be on a joint together which is a first that the two collaborated on a track together with just them two.

Bas previously dropped his third studio album Milky Way back in August 2018 and this is the first we are hearing from the artist this year after finishing up his tour for his latest project. Bas comes in hot on “Fried Rice” while J.I.D. brings the bars and switches it up floating over the beat. This joint might appear on Dreamville’s upcoming ‘Revenge of the Dreamers 3’ compilation.

Russ collaborates with Dreamville’s Bas on his soulful, new single “Keep On Goin.” Over the mellow, guitar-driven instrumental, Russ inspirationally raps about taking care of his friends and family, while spreading other positive messages. Bas completes the track by dropping some hard-hitting bars.

The collaboration is a rare one for L.A. Leakers “Indie Pick of the Week” alumnist, Russ, who usually doesn’t feature anyone on his songs. His last collaboration was with Berkeley’s Rexx Life Raj.

New Music: Spillage Village – “Can’t Call It” Feat. J. Cole & Bas [LISTEN]

cant-call-it-680x680

A few months ago DJ Khaled gave us a new J. Cole song on his ‘Major Key’ album which featured EarthGang. The song, “Jermaine’s Interlude,” was originally supposed to be a Spillage Village cut, before all verses were stripped with the exception of Cole’s.

The complete version of the original song titled, “Can’t Call It” was released today featuring all members of Spillage Village (EarthGang, J.I.D. & Hollywood JB), Bas, and Cole. This isn’t the first collaboration for the Spillage Village clan and Dreamville. In the past they have made music and toured together.

After Bas nabbed Ab-Soul for the “Housewives” remix a few weeks ago, Bas blesses Souhlo with a verse on his new joint, “Braille.”

Soul has been dropping a lot of new music as of late, which could mean he is working on a project. ScHoolboy Q and Isaiah Rashad have already dropped an album this year. With Skiiwalker dropping next, could Han Souhlo be on deck?

Anytime Dreamville and TDE get together it always equates to something special. That is exactly what happens on BAS’ remix of “Housewives,” where he calls on Ab-Soul to drop some vocals. Hopefully we get more Dreamville, TDE collabs soon, like that J. Cole x Kendrick Lamar project. In the meantime listen to the remix below.
