Gucci Mane Talks To B-Nyce About His ‘Evil Genius’ Album [PEEP]

I got the chance to get an early listen to Gucci Mane’s ‘Evil Genius’ album which drops tonight. The album includes gems like “Wake Up in the Sky” featuring Bruno Mars and Kodak Black and the recently-released “BiPolar” featuring Quavo.

From start to finish the album is exactly what you’d expect from Gucci — a plethora of bangers, that heavy trap sound, and hard-hitting bars.

After listening to the album with Gucci and a room filled with DJs at The Record Plant in West Hollywood, I proceeded to sit with Guwop in a dim-lit studio room for a brief interview. In the interview I talk to La Flare about how the album came together, the features, production on the album, and his recording process.

Before you press play on the album tonight listen to my interview with Gucci below.

Maxo Kream Talks ‘Punken’ Album, Fredo Santana’s Death & More W/ B-Nyce [LISTEN]

I caught up with Houston rapper Maxo Kream straight off his press run on the East Coast and fresh off the release of his debut album, ‘Punken’.

We discussed a variety of topics that range from the album and the time it took to get it done to much more. Maxo also fully explained the process of making the album and how choosy he is about instrumentals he uses and how many he goes through to make a song.

Maxo also opened up to me about the recent death of one of his close friends, Fredo Santana, who suddenly passed away last month from a fatal seizure allegedly due to codeine. We went on to discuss the dangers of lean and how he has kicked the habit.

“Don’t do the lean, that shit the devil,” he told me.

RockyBanksInterview

The homie Rocky Banks came to L.A. for the first time, so I had to get him in the studio to talk about his forthcoming project, the Houston rap scene, his upcoming appearance at the AC3 Music Festival in Atlanta and more. You know I had to stay true to the Leaker way too and get the homie to spit a hot ass freestyle.
