Alexander Spit channels his producer side for the sequel to Mansions. Much like his previous project, A Breathtaking Trip To That Otherside, Mansions 2 aims to create an ambience. Twenty-five tracks of “heavily sampled based production crafted with the motif of grand luxury and alluding to the idea of ‘getting lost’ in the music, the way one would in a mansion.”

Mansions 2 features co-production from KT The Terrible and guitar work by Brian Damert of The Tambo Rays. Stream and download below.

Alexander Spit – Mansions 2 (Video)

Leading up to next week’s release of Mansions 2, Alexander Spit drops a storytelling visual, showcasing more than half the album, with the project’s title, “Mansions 2.” The mash-up anime video, directed by David Gallardo, tells “the story of a guardian reliving his past and a hired gunman questioning the morals of his job.”

Alexander Spit released a short clip of his 16-minute music video for Mansions 2.

Directed by David Gallardo, the full video features classic anime mashed up to create the story of a guardian reliving his past and a hired gunman questioning the morals of his job – told through the sounds of Spit’s upcoming instrumental project, Mansions 2.

Producer Caleb Stone rounded up the talents of Alexander Spit, Cashius Green, Speak! and Mike G at Blue Mic’s Santa Monica Studios and created the following track, “Savion Glover.” The name Savion Glover belongs to a talented tap dancer whose fancy footwork is actually sampled in the track. Neat, right? Listen to the dope track below.
