Saweetie is no stranger to the hyphy movement as she spent the majority of her life in the Bay Area. Today, she pays homage to the living rap legend Too $hort on her latest single titled “Tap In”.
The young fashionista and emerging rapper has made quite the name for herself as she has remixed many songs from the early 2000s and put her own spin on it.
“Tap In” features the iconic baseline from one of Too $hort’s greatest hit “Blow the Whistle,” and even some opening words from the legend himself. Saweetie clearly makes it known what her favorite word is!
