Harlem spitter Dave East has always been vulnerable about death, and loss through his music. On his latest single titled “My Loc” he pays homage to his close friend/cousin, Kiing Shooter, who passed a few days ago.
This very emotionally-charged song serves as a reflection of all their relationship long before fame ever came. Through the headache we are still able to hear Dave craft bars, and float over the beat to create this gritty yet pristine sound.
