New Music: Future – “I.C.W.N.T.” [LISTEN]

You know it was only a matter of time until Future dropped some new music. Being one of the hardest working artists in the game, it should come as no surprise that Hndrxx delivers his new single “I.C.W.N.T” today.

The song’s title is an acronym for “I Can’t Wife No Thot” and has Future going off about thotties over the 808 Mafia production. This single may also be a sign of a new project on the way for the Atlanta rapper. Perhaps it will land on ‘Beast Mode 2’, which was rumored to be coming soon.

Last year Future released his self-titled ‘Future’ album in February and followed up with his ‘Hndrxx’ album the following week. Future season is certainly upon us, be on the lookout for more updates at they unfold.

Nipsey Hussle Hints At ‘America’s Most Wanted’ Joint Project With YG [PEEP]

For a while now fans of  Nipsey Hussle and YG have begged for a joint project from both L.A. artists. They have collaborated on a plethora of singles since they broke into the industry. Both rappers definitely have the talent and chemistry to make it happen.

In a recent interview with Billboard Neighbahood Nip revealed that their “FDT (F**k Donald Trump)” song was intended to be on ‘America’s Most Wanted’, their collaborative project. It ultimately landed on YG’s album.

“”FDT” was for the YG and Nip Hussle album, and you heard how crazy that shit came out? He put that on the album and was like, “F**k that, I’m done.” And I understand that. Those sessions were sessions for the collab project. We went into Mustard’s studio every day. Young Thug came through. A lot of songs that wound up on different projects happened in there,” he explained.

He continued saying that the possibility of the collaborative project which was originally announced in 2013 was still a possibility.

“The idea is definitely not dead. Life happens. He got a solo career and I got a solo career. He got a kid and I got kids. That’s something the West wants, and we’re gonna do it, and we’re gonna call it ‘America’s Most Wanted’,” he said.

After hearing “Last Time I Checked” off Nip’s ‘Victory Lap’ album, it is safe to say that the desire of a collaborative project has been revived. I would love to hear a Terrace Martin produced, YG & Nip collab album featuring some of the West Coast’s heavyweights.

What do you think? Would you like to hear a collab album from these two? Tell us in the comments below.

New Music: Blac Youngsta – “Booty (Remix)” Feat. Chris Brown, Jeezy & Trey Songz [LISTEN]

Anyone that wasn’t messing with Blac Youngsta has definitely had their mind swayed with the rapper’s thumping “Booty” single. The track has garnered a lot of attention and the Memphis rapper looks to take it to another level by grabbing Chris Brown, Jeezy, and Trey Songz for the remix.

Chris Brown, Jeezy, and Trey Songz is definitley the right ingredient to add a nice contrast to the friendly melody. Jeezy comes out with some strip club-provoking lyrics, while Breezy chips in with smooth vocals and channels his inner Busta Rhymes with a “Look At Me Now” flow. “Mr. Steal Yo Girl,” comes in smooth reminding us of his alter ego Trigga and drops some bars.

New Music: Wale – “Staying Power” [LISTEN]

Depending on who you ask, people will say that MMG rapper Wale fell off. If you ask others the DMV MC never slipped and is still one of the best in the game. Personally his new single “Staying Power” reminds everyone that he truly is a skilled rapper and a force to be reckoned with.

Using the new single as a platform to state his dominance, Wale raps, “I can out rap my opponents.” With no brashness in his voice, Wale talks his shit and wants everyone to know he should be grouped with the elite rappers in the industry.  Speeding up his flow and slowing it down in his always poetic flow over a chilling beat he definitely eats up this track.

Creativity should not be determined by a budget and SOBxRBE offer a perfect example of that with the release of the high-energy “Carpoolin” video today. The visual comes as support for their recently-released ‘Gangin’ album that dropped last week.

The “Carpoolin” video captivates its audience with quick switching scenes, constant stimulating of the viewer, combining colors, slow motion, classic VHS clips, and computer animation to visually match the new west coast banger from the Bay Area crew.

Big Sean Postpones His “Unfriendly Reminder Tour” [PEEP]

Fans of Big Sean are disappointed to know the G.O.O.D. Music rapper is postponing his upcoming “Unfriendly Reminder Tour.” The now-postponed tour created a lot of hype with fans being able to help create and curate the set list by voting for songs on his website.

Sean was aligned to make his first stop at the CFE Arena in Orlando and go-on to make stops in major parts of North America

In an apologetic tone, Sean Don issued an apology letter to his fans writing:

“To all my fans: I’ve been in a deep creative space and decided I need to stay focused in the studio – so, unfortunately, I am postponing my upcoming tour.” When you’re in the groove you’re in the groove and we all have something we do & love that allows us to enter a state where everything just flows. “I learned in life you have to follow your intuition – I hope you do the same. Thank you for your continued love and support. It means the world to me. Trust, we are working on something special for you all.”

– Big Sean

Last year Sean delivered his critically-acclaimed ‘I Decided’ album and his collaborative ‘Double Or Nothing’ project with Metro Boomin’. On the bright side, the cancellation only means we should be getting some new material from Sean soon.
