New Video: Tyga – “Dubai Drip” [WATCH]

Right after Tyga teased his new single “Dubai Drip” on his Instagram yesterday, his fans went delirious. Today, he released the remix to Offset’s “Ric Flair Drip,” along with some visuals where he shows off his ice in the studio.

Tyga has been known to remix songs and add a sprinkle of his flavor and has done so with his ‘Well Done’ mixtape series. Perhaps this means a new installment is on the horizon? Either way, you can listen below.

Dave East Shares “The Hated” Short Film Feat. Nas [WATCH]

Approximately two days ago Dave East released the follow-up to last year’s ‘Paranoia: A True Story’, which includes 15 new tracks and is stacked with some dope features.

Today East revisits the original ‘Paranoia’ mixtape with a 10-minute music video that plays out like a short film for his “The Hated” single featuring his bossman, Nas. The Kid Art-directed clip includes some gritty, action-packed scenes that elaborates on the song’s lyrics.

Kendrick Lamar To Perform At 2018 Grammys [PEEP]

Being one of the leading nominees at this year’s Grammys, it’s only right that Kendrick Lamar performs at “Music’s Biggest Night.” The 7-time Grammy winner is reportedly going to be performing at this year’s event in New York City.

The reports that are swirling state that Kung-Fu Kenny will open the show up with a powerful, surprise performance, where he is expected to do a ‘DAMN.’ medley of songs. If the reports are true this would be the third time he’s hitting the Grammy stage after performing “Alright” and “The Blacker the Berry” in 2016 and doing an intense set with Imagine Dragons in 2014.

K. Dot’s 2018 nominations include Album of the Year, Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, Record of the Year, Best Rap/Sung Performance, and Best Music Video.

Other performers at this year’s Grammys include Bruno Mars, U2, SZA, Elton John, Cardi B, Sam Smith, Alessia Cara, and more.

New Video: Rocky Banks – “Through The Phone” [WATCH]

Houston rapper Rocky Banks starts the rollout for his forthcoming ‘Big Little Brother’ album by dropping the visuals for “Through the Phone.” The thumping track preaches how everybody thinks they’re popping on social media, but really not and the video further captures that.

‘Big Little Brother’ is slated for release next month.

Over delicate, soothing production, A$AP Ferg raps about his upbringing on “Family.” The new single is in conjunction with his Hennessy collaboration.

The Migos Announce ‘Culture II’ Release Date [PEEP]

Dat way.

A few weeks ago I shared a list of the 10 most anticipated albums of 2018 and the Migos upcoming ‘Culture II’ album was definitely on there. Late last night the Atlanta trio announced the release date for the highly-anticipated album and follow-up to 2017’s ‘Culture’.

The sequel is slated to be released on Friday, January 26th, which is only one day before the original was released on January 27th of last year.

Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff all shared the release date with a photo on social media that shows white roses spelling out the roman numeral “II,” along with two white doves holding the imagery down and the release date on the bottom. All three members have also changed their AVI to the image.

Thus far there has been two singles released off the album in the Pharrell-produced “Stir Fry” and the flaming “MotorSport” single featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

Jay Rock Says His Album Is Done, Talks Black Hippy Project & More [WATCH]

Off the release of his new single “King’s Dead” featuring Kendrick Lamar, Future, and James Blake, Jay Rock stopped by the Power 106 #LIFTOFF to discuss the song, how it came to fruition, “Black Panther” album, and a lot more with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk.

Rock says he was working in the studio when K. Dot came in to ask if he wanted in and he couldn’t pass up on it. Aside from the “King’s Dead” single and  “Black Panther” soundtrack, Rock said his upcoming album is done and hinted at a potential Black Hippy project.

Dave East Releases His ‘Paranoia 2’ EP [STREAM]

Dave East released a few projects last year with ‘Paranoia: A True Story’ and his ‘Karma’ mixtape. With the first quarter in full effect, the Harlem spitter looks to carry the traction by releasing the sequel to last August’s ‘Paranoia’.

On ‘Paranoia 2’ Dave East links up with Tory Lanez on “Woke Up,” T.I. on “Annoying,” Lloyd Banks on “Violent,” Bino Rideaux on “Maintain,” Marsha Ambrosius on “Grateful,” and Matt Patterson on “Never Been.”

Next up, East will embark on his “P2 Tour” to promote the new project.

New Music: Young M.A. – “I Get The Bag (Freestyle)” [LISTEN]

Young M.A. remixes Gucci Mane’s “I Get the Bag” and puts her lyrics on it. To accompany the new freestyle, the New York spitter dropped Marc Diamond-directed visuals, which show her draped in a red beanie, a white T-Shirt, and black Timbs.

If you’re in need of some motivation, Snoop Dogg has plenty to spread in the video for his latest single, “Motivation,” produced by Ben Billions.

The D. Baker-directed video begins with Uncle Snoop going hard in the gym. Soon-after he is aligned with NBA and NFL game highlights, while The Doggfather shows off his game in the gym by dunking and hitting threes. Steph Curry, Russell Westbrook, and Antonio Brown all make cameos in the video.
