New Music: Post Malone – “Rockstar” (Original) Feat. Joey Bada$$ & T-Pain [LISTEN]

In 2017 Post Malone may not have dropped his highly-anticipated ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’ album. That did not stop him from earning a No. 1 and having a big anthem in his 21 Savage-assisted “Rockstar” single, which has been moving everywhere.

Yesterday, Joey Bada$$ admitted to co-writing the single on his Twitter account and today the official, original version of the song was leaked. The original version subtracts 21 and adds Joey and auto-tune genius, T-Pain.

New Music: Lil Wayne – “Family Feud” Feat. Drake [LISTEN]

If you thought Drake was quiet and was falling off to end the year…GUESS AGAIN! The 6 God appears on the first single off Lil Wayne’s upcoming ‘D6: Reloaded’, where the duo get back to their 2011 bag and crush shit with lyrical homicide over Jay Z’s “Family Feud” instrumental.

It’s quite the strategic move to drop on the last Friday of the year and also on the same day that Jay Z freed the visuals for “Family Feud” off his ‘4:44’ album. On it Drizzy goes off with quick bars, where he considers taking out a loan to pay Weezy what Universal owes, shows love to Meek Mill, says he needs a percentage in Apple Music, takes a dig a trump, and more.

“Too long like a sentence from a Philly judge / Fuck is the point with all the beefing when we really blood / nobody wins when the family feuds, n***a / everyone eats no one excludes n****s,” raps Drizzy.

New Video: Jay-Z – “Family Feud” Feat. Beyoncé [WATCH]

Nobody wins when the family feuds is the message Jay Z preached on his “Family Feud” single featuring his wife, Beyoncé. The winning collaboration is a complete family affair with Blue Ivy also contributing in the cinematic video for the ‘4:44’ single.

Ava DuVernay directs the star-studded visuals, which includes cameos from Michael B. Jordan, Omari Hardwick, Jessica Chastain, Thandie Newton, America Ferrera, Brie Larson, Rosario Dawson, Rashida Jones, Mindy Kaling, and more.

It also includes a score by Flying Lotus and an opening quote from James Baldwin that says, “The wretched of the earth do not decide to become extinct, they resolve, on the contrary, to multiply: life is their weapon against life, life all that they have.”

Drake’s ‘Take Care’ Album Secures 250th Week On Billboard’s 200 Chart [PEEP]

When people debate on what Drake’s greatest album is, the general consensus always seems to be ‘Take Care’. The album was major for Drizzy, who was coming off his biggest single to date in “Best I Ever Had,” and maintained consistency with the album, eventually making him a household name.

Released back on November 15th 2011, ‘Take Care’ debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts with 631,000 copies sold in its first week. Just last week the album completed a 250 week streak on the Billboard 200 and currently sits at No. 105. It has sold over 5-million copies as of this year.

The album spawned many big singles for Drizzy including “Marvin’s Room,” the radio-ready “Headlines,” “HYFR” featuring Lil Wayne, “Take Care” featuring Rihanna, “Make Me Proud” featuring Nicki Minaj, and many more. It is 4x certified-platinum by the RIAA.

TDE had a hell of a year between Kendrick Lamar’s critically-acclaimed ‘DAMN.’ album and SZA’s freshman offering, ‘Ctrl’. Top Dawg and company are already lining themselves up for repeat success in 2018, as they have a lot of up-and-coming talent like Inglewood’s SiR.

A few weeks ago SiR linked up with labelmate, ScHoolboy Q for his melodic single “Something Foreign,” and today he frees the Jack Begert-directed visuals for the single.
