Jay-Z & Kendrick Lamar Lead The 2018 GRAMMYs With Most Nominations [PEEP]

Once again the hip-hop genre will run the GRAMMYs. The 2018 GRAMMYs will be headed by Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar, who lead the pack of with most nominations.

Hov leads everyone with a total of eight nominations, including Record of the Year for “The Story of O.J.,” Song of the Year for the apologetic “4:44,” and Album of the Year for his 13th studio album, ‘4:44’. Jay is already one of the most nominated artists ever with 74 career nominations and 21 wins.

Following Hov is Kung-Fu Kenny, who celebrates seven nominations, lead by Album of the Year for his critically-acclaimed ‘DAMN.’ album. Dot is also nominated for Record of the Year with “HUMBLE.” Kendrick is sure to be on Hov’s platuea by the time he hangs it up. To date he has earned 20 nominations and seven victories.

Elsewhere Bruno Mars is nominated for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. Childish Gambino scores five nominations surrounding his ‘Awaken, My Love!’ album. Meanwhile artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Cardi B, Goldlink, SZA, and Khalid score their first-ever nominations.

Logic is also nominated for his “1-800-273-8255” single.

The 60th annual GRAMMYs will take place Sunday, January 28th from Madison Square Garden in New York City. CBS will air the event at 8 pm local time.
