Being a huge fan of HBO’s “Insecure” show, SZA was completely stoked when her ‘Ctrl’ single, “Supermodel,” sounded off on the show. The show’s boss lady, Issa Rae is also a huge fan of SZA’s music, so it was only a matter a time for the TDE songstress to make a single exclusively for the show.

SZA goes off on her new single “Quicksand,” which will appear on the show’s soundtrack along with “Supermodel.”

DVSN Share The Official Release Date For Upcoming ‘Morning After’ Album [PEEP]

There’s been a lot of recent output on the side of dvsn and after sharing a trailer for their upcoming sophomore album, ‘Morning After’, the group shares the official release date.

This week the OVO signees dropped their new single “Mood” and now they’re back with an official release date of October 13th. The announcement was made with another trailer, similar to the video announcement that was shared last month.

Daniel Daley and Nineteen85 are looking to continue their early success they had with ‘SEPT. 5TH’ and if the recently-released singles are any indicators of what to expect, it should be matched.

SYD Unravels ‘Always Never Home’ EP [STREAM]

Going on with her solo career, SYD unravels her ‘Always Never Home’ EP.

The three song EP contains no features and and includes “Bad Dreams/No Looking Back” off her debut album, ‘Fin’. Along with the album cut, ‘Always Never Home’ contains “Moving Mountains” and the closer, “On the Road.”

‘Always Never Home’ comes just ahead of The Internet songstress’ upcoming “Always Never Home Tour,” which is set to begin in New York on October 9th.

New Video: Dom Kennedy x Hit-Boy “In The Hills/Might As Well” Feat. Quentin Miller [WATCH]

Comprised of Dom Kennedy and Hit-Boy, the group known as Half-A-Mil have had major success. Following the release of their ‘EP3’ a couple weeks ago, Dom and Hit are back with the visuals for “In the Hills / Might As Well.”

In the visuals, the Half-A-Mil boys take viewers into their lavish lifestyle, which begins with a party in a massive mansion for “In the Hills.” From there they turn to the afterparty for the “Might As Well” part, which includes a plethora of beautiful women.

Towards the end of the month DJ Kay Slay will be releasing his full-length ‘The Big Brother’ album. It’s shaping up to be filled with some of the artists of the game. Having already released two singles, Kay Slay comes back with “Jealousy” featuring Busta Rhymes, The Game, and Tech N9ne.

On the track’s intro, Kay Slay goes on to call his collaborators “three lyricists” and makes it a point by reiterating it and saying, “not rappers, lyricists.”

‘The Big Brother’ is slated to be released on Friday, September 22nd, but in the meantime you can stream “Jealousy” below.

Paying homage to Master P.’s NOLA tribe, G-Eazy unleashes his newest banger “No Limit” featuring A$AP Rocky and Cardi B. The single was first premiered live in New Orleans last week and after Cardi was pushing for the release on Twitter, G makes her wish come true.

It is expected that “No Limit” will appear on G-Eazy’s forthcoming ‘The Beautiful & Damned’ album.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Shares Features For Debut Album ‘The Bigger Artist’ [PEEP]

Earlier this week New York rapper, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie not only announced his debut album, ‘The Bigger Artist’, he also uncovered the album artwork and set a release date of September 29th. The XXL Freshman of the Year has now shared features the album will include.

“Sept. 29. Shit is about to be different, man. I ain’t gonna lie, it’s gonna be different vibes, man. You see how I do love songs? It’s gonna be those in there, but I threw different types of vibes in it that I don’t really go on. So I got a song with Chris Brown on there, Trey Songz on there, I got 21 [Savage] on there, PnB Rock, NBA YoungBoy. It’s about to be different, man,” he said while speaking to Billboard.

Some of these features like Chris Brown and PnB Rock should come as no surprise, with the rapper having already collaborated with them.

A Boogie also said during the interview that this album will end his mixtape era, but before that he’s releasing one more EP with fellow High Bridge artist, Don Q.

“I stopped doing that mixtape thing, I’m not really rocking with mixtapes no more. EPs and albums, that’s it,” he said. “Speaking of that, I forgot, I got one more mixtape coming. Me and Don Q dropping a mixtape.”

Check Out The Trailer For “The Autobiography of Gucci Mane” [WATCH]

There’s been a lot of ups and downs in Gucci Mane’s career. From shooting a man to fighting court cases to going on an EPIC Twitter rant to serving a prison sentence to now getting engaged and being as focused as ever, it’s been hell of a voyage.

Gucci’s upcoming “The Autobiography of Gucci Mane,” which will be accompanied with a book will also include unreleased photos and tell stories of GuWop’s experiences.

A trailer for the documentary shows Gucci in front of a sold-out crowd, before showing footage and commentary from his prison stint. From the looks of the trailer, this is a must-watch for the Gucci enthusiast.

It’s already been a big year for Gucci, who earned his first No. 1 with Rae Sremmurd for “Black Beatles,” got engaged to longtime girlfriend Keisha Ka-ior, won his first VMA award with Fifth Harmony, and is working on his seventh project in a year.
