New Video: Phora – “Loyalty” [WATCH]

Just ahead of his ‘Yours Truly Forever’ album, Phora gives his latest offering “Loyalty,” attached with a video. Directed by George Orozco, the LA-based artist praises his queen by putting her on a pedestal and showing his “Loyalty” to her.

Phora will release ‘Yours Truly Forever’ next Friday, August 18th, the same day he wraps up his “Yours Truly Tour” at the NOVO in LA. We’re also cooking something special for the fans. Stay tuned.

MadeinTYO Announces Final Project & Drops New Single “Cashin Out” [PEEP]

Surprising fans, MadeinTYO announced what he said will be his final project, ‘True’s World’. It’s really a stunning call for many as TYO has just began to reach his prime after a few successful singles, touring with Big Sean, and his Private Club Record label taking off.

“True’s World is my last project,” TYO told XXL. “Thank you for all the support.”

It’s unclear why MadeinTYO is ending his successful music career, but surely there is a good reason for it.

Along with the announcement TYO dropped his new single “Cashin Out,” where he declares he’s tired of a lot of shit rapping, “Tired of comparisons / Young ni**a, so embarrassing / Fuck up her hair again / My shorty bad, yeah, she arrogant.”

Jay-Z has been making some major moves with the visuals for singles off his critically-acclaimed ‘4:44’ album. His last video for “Moonlight” recreated ’90s sitcom “Friends” with Lakeith Stanfield, Jerrod Carmichael, Issa Rae, Tessa Howard, and others playing characters on the show.

Fashawn Unleashes ‘Manna’ EP [STREAM]

Fresno rapper Fashawn hasn’t released an official project in a few years, but today all that has changed. Fashawn ends the drought by delivering his new ‘Manna’ EP via Nas’ Mass Appeal Records.

With 9-tracks in the holster, Fashawn unloads on fans with only one contribution from Snoop Dogg on “Pardon My G.” The rest of the project, Fashawn showcases his skills and exemplifies the music he’s made during the hiatus.

New Music: Problem – “Get On It” Feat. Bad Lucc [LISTEN]

This week Problem announced his new album ‘Selfish’, which is going to be his third project this year along with ‘Chachiville’ and ‘Rosecrans’. Earlier this week, Prob also said he was dropping a new single Friday and the time has come. With the help of Bad Lucc, Chachi gives fans the party-ready anthem, “Get On It.”

“Get On It” was first debuted at HARD Summer last week during Problem’s set, where he brought a plethora of ladies on stage with him. On Instagram he said the song was inspired by Uncle Luke and the 2 Live Crew and you can definitely pinpoint that on the single.

AWGEST is in full effect for the A$AP Mob takeover. A week since A$AP Twelvyy dropped his debut album ’12’, A$AP Ferg takes the torch and releases the visuals for his “East Coast (Remix)” featuring Busta Rhymes, A$AP Rocky, Dave East, French Montana, Rick Ross, and Snoop Dogg.

Next week Ferg will release his forthcoming ‘Still Striving’ project. It’s still to be seen if the project will include the single. Either way, it should be LIT.

New Music: Wiz Khalifa – “Something New” Feat. Ty Dolla $ign [LISTEN]

Sampling Zapp and Roger’s legendary “Computer Love,” Wiz Khalifa puts together what appears to be his latest hit on the Hitmaka-produced “Something New” single featuring fellow Taylor Gang member, Ty Dolla $ign.

Wiz serves up romanticizing bars rapping, “Girl, you look just like something out a magazine / You smell great, know your body clean / Them ni**as been on you since you was a teen / Now you grown up, and I’m a boss, I’m just showing love / Smell like kush when I’m rollin’ up / So much bank, I can’t fold it up.”

Ty meanwhile contributes a verse and also handles the hook singing, “Baby, come give me something new / Cause I can’t stop loving you / Since I got a taste of your love / Baby, come give me something new.”

“Something New” appears to be the first single off Khalifa’s forthcoming album and follow-up to 2014’s ‘Blacc Hollywood’.

Desiigner Shares Artwork For Debut Album ‘LOD’ [PEEP]

It’s been a long time coming, but apparently we’re a step closer to Desiigner’s debut album. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper came storming out the gates with his successful, viral single “Panda.” Looking to continue his success, Desiigner shared the artwork for his debut album ‘LOD (Liife of Desiigner)’.

Scrap-booking baby pictures of himself, Desiigner’s album artwork is a collage of his younger days, with images of other family members as well. The blazing wordsmith shared the image on his Instagram after he erased every other post.

‘LOD’ was originally announced in May of last year. To boost the album, it is expected to include the single “Panda,” as well as recently-released cuts like “Timmy Tuner,” “Outlet,” and “Liife” featuring Gucci Mane. Desiigner is expected to release the album later this year and has yet to give an official release date.
