In the midst of heavy racial tension across the country, Meek Mill and The-Dream performed their politically-driven single, “Young Black America” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

With fellow Philly representers, The Roots backing Meek and Dream, the duo looked to address the current tension with a melodic performance of the ‘Wins & Losses’ standout single. In the performance a young African-American boy sits at a desk and watches the performance, clinging onto every word.

Shortly after the performance in NYC, Meek Mill was arrested for alleged reckless endangerment, while riding a dirt bike and popping wheelies, leading to two misdemeanors. The charges have since been dropped by the DA and Meek is a free man.
