RZA Announces New Wu-Tang Album [PEEP]

wu-tang

It’s been about three years since the Wu-Tang Clan released their last collaborative album, ‘A Better Tomorrow’. The legendary supergroup is ready to give fans another album apparently, with RZA announcing the forthcoming, ‘Wu-Tang Clan: The Saga Continues.’

A few days ago the Wu dropped the first single off the album, “People Say” featuring Redman. If the single is any indication of what to expect from the album, you won’t be disappointed. RZA will executive produce the album, while DJ Mathematics will produce from front to back.

Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Bobby Digital, Raekwon, Inspektah Deck, Masta Killa, ODB, Redman, and Sean Price, and others will all be featured on the album.

“For years, Math has had the idea of putting together a body of music using modern and legendary equipment such as ASR10 with vocal performances by Wu-Tang Clan members and other prominent MCs,” said RZA. “With The Saga Continues, he’s created a masterpiece. We at 36 Chambers ALC are honored to work with Mathematics to put out a great piece of art.”

Wu-Tang Clan: The Saga Continues‘ will be released as part of a new partnership between 36 Chambers ALC and eOne Music. As of now the album is slated to be released October 13th.

Screen-Shot-2017-08-25-at-12.31.13-PM

Showing love to his set, Houston rapper, Maxo Kream details “5200” different ways to get paid. This song follows his mellow “Grannies” track, he dropped a few weeks ago. Maxo has some music coming with Lil Uzi Vert as well, and from what I hear, they have enough music in the vault for a collaborative EP.

jay-z-tidal-interview

(UPDATE)

E Dub and B.dot dropped part two of their Rap Radar exclusive, candid Jay-Z interview. On it Hov served up several more gems for the listener. Hov also shouted out Belly’s LA Leakers freestyle saying that was the platform he noticed how talented the XO rapper was.

Watch below.

Elliot Wilson and Brian “B.dot” Miller have built a reputation for themselves, of serving up some of the hottest, most exclusive interviews in the game. Pushing that same agenda forward, the Rap Radar Podcast duo sat down with Jay-Z for a candid interview.

Over an hour’s time, Hov, Elliot, and B.dot discussed the topics that every hip hop connoisseur has been needing answers to. Amongst those were Jay’s soured relationship with Kanye West, along with Black enterprise and entrepreneurship, his critically-acclaimed ‘4:44’ album, new rapper’s mentality, and a whole lot more.

Jay-Z To Perform On “Saturday Night Live” Season 43 Premiere [PEEP]

Jay-Z-Biggie-Doc-AE-Network-screenshot-2017-billboard-1548

“Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night Live!”

Jay-Z will take the cap off season 43 of “Saturday Night Live” with what is guaranteed to be a memorable performance, as he will be featured as the musical guest, while Ryan Gosling will host. Season 43 will premiere on September 30th.

It’s quite an irony the both Hov and Gosling will kick off the new season of “SNL,” considering the actor is mentioned and focused on Jay’s “Moonlight” single, where he raps, “We stuck in La La Land
Even when we win, we gon’ lose.”

This performance will mark Hov’s fourth time being the musical guest on “SNL.” He performed on the sketch show back in 2000, 2002, and 2010. He was also Beyoncé’s guest in 2003 for their performance of “Crazy In Love” and joined Justin Timberlake for a performance of “Suit & Tie” in 2013.

Lil Uzi Vert Delivers ‘Luv Is Rage 2’ [STREAM]

luv-2

For a while now, Lil Uzi Vert has teased ‘Luv Is Rage 2’ and kept fans on the edge of their seats anticipating the album. Two years after departed from the original ‘Luv Is Rage’ mixtape, Uzi, who has became a star since, delivers the second installment.

Leading up to the release, LUV released a number of songs, none of which are included on ‘Luv Is Rage 2’. Instead the Atlanta rapper has crafted 16 new songs with the exception of “XO Tour Lif3” and only two features from The Weeknd and Pharrell, respectively.

‘Luv Is Rage 2’ was originally supposed to drop earlier this year and was announced last November as a mixtape. While it was delayed, “XO Tour Lif3” propelled Uzi with the single peaking at No. 7 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and reached Platinum status.

Early indications show that “Sauce It Up,” “Early 20 Rager,” and “UnFazed” featuring The Weeknd have the potential to reach the success “XO Tour Lif3” has brought for Uzi, who says he gets “like 80k a show.”
