Dave East Unveils ‘Paranoia: A True Story’ Artwork & Release Date [PEEP]

Since Dave East dropped his ‘Kairi Chanel’ project last year, fans have been eagerly awaiting his next album. Moving forward with the rollout, the New York rapper unveiled the cover art and release date for ‘Paranoia: A True Story’. In a Instagram post, East announced the album will be dropping August 18th.

“OFFICIAL COVER PARANOIA AUG 18TH FREAKY FOREVER MUGGA WORLD,” he wrote in the IG post.

The cover art shows a pensive East sitting on a couch with his right arm resting on his lap, while he holds his left hand by his mouth. Flying his colors, the rapper includes a blue bandana by his side, with a typewriter font that spells: “Paranoia: A True Story.”

While working on his album, East has spent the year releasing music. He’s been featured on several songs and released EastMixes for Future’s “Mask Off,” The Weeknd’s “Party Monster,” French Montana’s “Unforgettable,” and Drake’s “Free Smoke.”
