New Music: Mobb Deep – “Try My Hand” Prod. By The Alchemist [LISTEN]

mobb-deep-alchemist

Alchemist and Mobb Deep have collaborated on several tracks like “Hold You Down,” “The Realest,” “Got It Twisted,” and “The Infamous” to name a few. Adding to the collection, Alchemist drops an unheard Mobb Deep collaboration called “Try My Hand.”

Just a month of Prodigy’s passing, Alchemist shares the track as part of his and Budgie’s A-L-C’s ‘The Good Book, Vol. 2′. On the track Prodigy raps about his status in hip-hop with boastful lyrics that penetrate through the production.

“I got the best of all time verse / My shit quotable / Remarkable rap, I stand out.” Later, he addresses his bothersome haters: “You’re like a comment on IG, nobody cares / Crawl back under that rock, the giants is here,” raps P.

New Video: Jay-Z – “Kill Jay Z” [WATCH]

kill-jay-z-video

Jay-Z drops the fourth video off his ‘4:44’ album. For four weeks straight he has released a new visual from his ‘4:44’ songs, which began with ‘The Story of OJ’. From there Hov fed the people with ‘4:44’, ‘Bam’ featuring Damian Marley, and now he’s unleashed the black-and-white clip for ‘Kill Jay Z’.

Directed by Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz, the 2-minute video begins with Hov’s vocals and a blacked out scream. In correlation with the No I.D.-produced instrumental, you see a teenage kid running as the beat drops, wearing a shirt that says “Stay Black.” Aerial shots then show a man in the desert, while another man swims in the ocean.

Hov’s ‘4:44’ album has already reached platinum certification and currently sits at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Jay made history with the album going No. 1 earlier this week. Read more here.

Tyler, The Creator Keeps It Controversial On New ‘Flower Boy’ Album [STREAM]

tyler

Not even an early leak could stop the hype around Tyler, The Creator’s new ‘Scum Fuck Flower Boy’ (or just ‘Flower Boy’ for public acceptance) album. Staying true to his pattern of dropping a new album bi-yearly, Tyler delivers his fourth studio album.

Along with 13-songs, the album is led by “Who Dat Boy” featuring A$AP Rocky and the Frank Ocean-assisted “911/Mr. Lonely.” Elsewhere you will find Tyler collaborating with Estelle on “Garden Shed,” Jaden Smith on “Pothole,” Rex Orange County on “Boredom” and “Forward,” and more.

Rumors of homosexuality have been swirling with Tyler’s lyrics on “Ain’t Got Time!” where he raps, “Next line, I’ll have em’ like woah / I’ve been kissing white boys since 2004.” It’s unclear if Tyler was just trolling or he really is. Either way he shouldn’t be looked at any different.

Catch Tyler performing the new album at his 6th Annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in LA on October 28th and 29th.

In the meantime stream the album below.
