XXXtentaction Gets Deep In His XXL Freshman Freestyle [WATCH]

xxxtentacion-xxl-freshman-freestyle

XXL wraps up this year’s Freshman series with XXXtentaction’s Freshman Freestyle. The Florida rapper hyped up his freestyle saying it would be crazy. Tentaction was the 10th and final pick of this year’s class chosen by the fans.

X begins the freestyle good and even takes a shot at J. Cole saying he should chance his name to “Amber Cole,” calling him a bitch for “sucking the government’s dick for safety.” Towards the end he begins to mumble some words I still haven’t been able to decipher. Personally I don’t like XXXtestosterone, but check it out for yourself below. Wasn’t bad.

Tell us in the comments what you thought about this and who was your favorite Freshman Freestyle.

yg-future-extra-luv

For the second time this week Future drops a new single accompanied by the visuals. Monday he dropped “PIE” featuring Chris Brown and HNDRXX ends the week on a high note by freeing “Extra Luv” featuring YG.

Benny Boom directed the latest visual which shows Future rocking a “Future” Gucci t-shirt as he dances around his estate surrounded by a plethora of baddies. YG gets in on the action dawning his 4Hunnid chains and smoking a cigar.

“Extra Luv” has been added to Future’s self-titled album, while “PIE” has apparently been added to the ‘HNDRXX’ album. Both albums debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s 200 chart earlier this year.

Future will be wrapping up his “Nobody Safe Tour” in Las Vegas, as he gears up to begin “The Future Hndrxx Tour” beginning July 8th.

New Music: Tyler, The Creator – “911 / Mr. Lonely” Feat. Frank Ocean [LISTEN]

Screen Shot 2017-06-30 at 11.55.07 AM

Tyler, The Creator must be getting ready to announce his next album because it’s been two years since he dropped his last project and has now released two new singles. Following “Who Dat Boy” featuring A$AP Rocky, Tyler drops “911 / Mr. Lonely” featuring Frank Ocean.

On the latter Tyler teams up with his teammate Franky Ocean to recreate The Gap Band’s “Outstanding” with the same melody and cadence. “Call me some time (Ring, ring, ring) /  Please bang my line, you know I’ll answer /  Call me some time (Ring, ring, ring) / Please bang my line.”

The single includes additional vocals from Steve Lacy, Anna of the North, and ScHoolboy Q.

If an album is on the horizon for Tyler it would be the first since 2015’s ‘Cherry Bomb.’ It would make sense as he’s dropped albums in a bi-yearly pattern starting with his freshman album ‘Goblin’.

TLC Releases Their Final Self-Titled Album [STREAM]

tlc-album

TLC first hit the scene in 1990 and released their first official studio album ‘oooooohhh… On the TLC Tip’ in 1992. The group was one of the most popular groups in the ’90s and reached stardom through singles like “No Scrubs,” “Unpretty,” “Waterfalls,” and others.

In 2002 while production on ‘3D’ was in progress member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes died in a car accident. Although the album was released later that year, the group disappeared. Following a 15-year hiatus T-Boz and Chili return with their final album ‘TLC’.

The self-titled album includes Left Eye on an interlude, while Snoop Dogg collaborates with the group on “Way Back.” Other singles included on the 12-track album are “Perfect Girls,” “Start a Fire,” and the daring “Aye Muthafucka.”

Next up for TLC, they will go on  “I Love the ’90s: The Party Continues Tour” starting July 7th. Joining TLC will be Naughty By Nature, Biz Markie, Montell Jordan, Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath, and more.

Jay-Z Drops His 13th Studio Album ‘4:44’ [STREAM]

Hovi’s Home!

It’s been a long four years since Jay-Z last dropped an album. Through that time many people thought Hov might’ve been done with the music and solely focused on business moves. Sure he released a few loosies in that time and was featured on songs, but the people wanted a whole album and with ‘4:44’ Hov delivers.

Prior to the official announcement of the new album, there wasn’t much notice or even a real rollout of an album. All we had were some photos of Jay at the studio. Rather than releasing singles to hype the album and properly rollout the album, Jay released short snippets with videos of “Adnis,” “Kill Jay Z,” and “maNyfaCedGod.”

This album marks his first since 2013’s ‘Magna Carta…Holy Grail’. With 10-tracks, the album is produced entirely by No I.D. and features from wifey Beyoncé on “Family Fued,” Hov’s mother Gloria Carter on “Smile,” Frank Ocean on “Caught Their Eyes,” Kim Burrell on “4:44,” Damien Marley on “Bam,” The-Dream on “Marcy Me,” and Blue Ivy on “Legacy.” Hov also does justice on Nina Simone, The Fugees, and Sister Nancy samples that No I.D. works in.

Hov broke down each track on ‘4:44’. Check it out below.

https://twitter.com/laleakers/status/880668654182043648

‘4:44’ is currently only exclusively available to Sprint and TIDAL subscribers. It’s a smart business move for Hov, because not only will he get revenue from sales, but subscribers have also increased once the public learned the exclusivity. This year Jay signed a $200-million between TIDAL and Sprint.

There’s no telling when ‘4:44’ will hit other streaming services or if it even will. Earlier this year Hov removed his entire catalog on Apple Music and put it exclusively on TIDAL.

Stream the entire ‘4:44’ via TIDAL below.

“Welcome back, Carter.”

New Video: Tyler, The Creator – “Who Dat Boy” Feat. A$AP Rocky [WATCH]

tyler-creator-asap-rocky-wdb

With not much warning Tyler, The Creator drops his new single “Who Dat Boy” featuring frequent collaborator, A$AP Rocky. The new single is accompanied by a video.

The Wolf Haley-directed video shows a bit of gore with A$AP Rocky playing a diabolical doctor, who gives Tyler a new face after a surgery gone wrong. To correlate with the song, the video begins much like a horror film with blaring music playing as Tyler sits at a desk with Thunder in the background.

In the end, Tyler remakes a ’90s parody sitcom by playing four different characters to add a bit of comic relief.

This new single could be the sign of a new Tyler album upon us. It would be the first since 2015’s ‘Cherry Bomb.’ Tyler has set a trend of dropping a new album bi-yearly, so the chances of that are very, very high.

Watch the video and listen to the new single below.
