UPDATE: Drizzy continues to break records with his ‘More Life’ album. Every song on the album is currently charting on the Billboard Hot 100 and he has now broken the Billboard record for most Hot 100 hits among solo artists with 154.

With the new record he passes his YMCMB boss, Lil’ Wayne, who has 135. Many people have criticized Drake for having over 20-songs on the album, but the move has proved to be a smart one with all 22-songs charting. In doing so he’s beat his own record for ‘Views’ and The Weeknd’s ‘Starboy’ with the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 songs from one single project.

With “Passionfruit” at No. 8 and “Portland” at No. 9, Drizzy follows Ed Sheeran to simultaneously have two songs on the Top 10.

Below is a list of artists with the most Hot 100 singles.

207, Glee Cast
154, Drake
135, Lil Wayne
108, Elvis Presley
91, James Brown
87, Jay Z
82, Chris Brown
81, Kanye West
77, Nicki Minaj
75, Ray Charles

When Drake said “More Life, more everything,” he really meant it. More success, “more chune for your headtop,” and of course more No. 1s.

With the early projections it should come as no surprise that Drizzy has earned his seventh consecutive No. 1 album with ‘More Life’ topping the Billboard 200 chart. In doing so he tied with Eminem and Kanye West for second most No. 1s amongst hip-hop artists. Jay-Z still maintains the throne with 13, so Drake still has work to do, if he ever wants to dethrone his counterpart.

‘More Life’ scored dominating numbers of over 500,000 equivalent album units, making it the biggest opening and dethroning his ‘Views’ album. Competing against himself, Drake broke records for streaming equivalent units with 257,000 through 384.8 million streams of individual tracks. The “playlist” broke Ed Sheeran’s traditional album sales units with over 200,000 broke both Spotify and Apple Music streaming records.

Through all the success physical copies of more life haven’t even been released yet. They will hit store shelfs on March 31st.
