Back in January Cam’ron teased his single “10,000 Miles” and said the Clifton Bell-directed movie was coming “this summer.” Finally after several delays, Killa Cam gives fans what they’ve been asking for by dropping the song and short film on the same day.

For the song, Killa does what he does by sampling a classic, by using Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles Away,” fittingly. In the past Cam has sampled The Four Seasons’ “December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night),” Andrew Gold’s “Thank You For Being A Friend,” The S.O.S. Band’s “Weekend Girl,” and others.

The short film which accompanies the single was directed by Clifton Bell and shot in Los Angeles. In the video Cam’s girl catches the DipSet rapper cheating by uncovering his lies one photo at a time. Cam is destined to get his girl back and trys to go the Kobe Bryant route by buying her a rock.

Along with the short film and single, Cam dropped a “Cheat On Your Diet, Not Your Girl” t-shirt, that he wears in the video.

It appears that “10,000 Miles” will be the first single off Cam’s forthcoming mixtape, The Program, which is due in May.
