DJ Mustard stays true to the fans with his promise of dropping a new project every summer.
Last night Mustard dropped ‘Cold Summer’ a follow-up to ’10 Summers’, a project he released the summer of 2014.
‘Cold Summer’ includes the summer smash-hit “Don’t Hurt Me” featuring Nicki Minaj and Jeremih.
Aside from Nicki and Jeremih, the project has features from Rick Ross, John Legend, YG, Ty Dolla $ign, Jeezy, OT Genesis, Young Thug, Nipsey Hussle, and more.

Dave East is the newest signee on the major Def Jams label.
East was first introduced by Nas as his prodigy while signed to Mass Appeal records. But today on the Breakfast Club he announced his signing while also announcing that he has some projects in the works with Kairi Chanel which is slated to be released in 2017 from the Def Jams Lable.

There isn’t much not on Jay-Z’s job list, and he can now add tv/film producer. It was announced today he signed a two year production deal with TWC & they will exclusive rights to on any of his film or tv projects.
HOV commented, “I’m excited to tell stories from real life prophets, whom through their struggles have changed the world for the better, and others whose stories are filled with fantasy and delight. Harvey and David are visionaries both of whom have done this time and time again. I’m already passionate about what we currently have in the pipeline and I’m looking forward to discovering others.”

On the new one off the album they grabbed Tinashe for “All Caught Up,” where the songstress drops her sexy vocals over the GTA electronic track.

Fresh off his new deal with Def Jam, Dave East, is dropping his debut album, ‘Kairi Chanel,’ (named after his daughter) later tonight.
Ahead of the album the homie Dave East released a new song titled “Eyes On Me” featuring Fabolous.
“Eyes On Me” will be on the album expected to drop at midnight. The album will also include features from 2 Chainz, The Game, Sevyn Streeter, Cam’ron and Beanie Sigel.

It’s no “False Alarm,” The Weeknd has dropped the second single off his forthcoming album ‘Starboy’.
On the new single “False Alarm” you’ll hear The Weeknd going in and out the different drums and synthesizers, making for an interesting track.
I expect plenty more new songs off ‘Starboy’ before its November 25th release date.
