A year ago, the west coast and hip hop fans felt heart break when the news broke of Nathaniel “Nate Dogg” Dwayne Hale’s death. Out of the many Nate tributes I’ve heard, nothing stands out more than DJ Steve1der’s Nate in ’08 mix. It didn’t start off as a tribute mix but he re-released it last year in tribute to the West Coast great. I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I do. It’s 100% Nate Dogg.
According to Vibe, Warren G says there are plenty of records that have yet to be released from the West Coast legend.
“I got tons of records that we did together — there’s stuff that we just had stashed. We got a bunch of stuff. I may put it out one day — you never know. I don’t want to just put it out right now because of the situation that happened,” Warren G told VIBE.” I ain’t like that — [Nate’s] my homeboy — I will do it for his kids and mother. It’s [now] about me and Snoop as 213, carrying on his legacy.”
